Donate Housewares in Columbus, Lancaster, or Dayton & Pickup Service is Free
Residents of Columbus, Lancaster, and Dayton can donate housewares to National Kidney Services (NKS) and help us fight the battle against chronic kidney disease (CKD). There are currently more than 26 million people suffering from this illness in the United States, but that number could be drastically reduced if more people had access to regular health screenings and information about the risk factors of kidney disease. Your donations can make this possible because NKS donates all of the proceeds from your contributions directly to the National Kidney Foundation to assist in its tireless efforts to eradicate CKD.
At NKS, we know that not everyone has the resources to make a monetary contribution, which is why we accept such a wide variety of used items. Not only can you donate housewares like pots and pans, decorative items, and small appliances, but we also accept clothes, shoes, books, toys, electronics, and more, all of which are considered tax-deductible* donations.
To request a complimentary donation pickup from our charitable organization, simply contact us at 614-351-2900 or sign up online to be added to our call list. We will contact you approximately every 4-6 weeks when donation collections are being scheduled in your neighborhood. You can also drop off your donations at any Ohio Thrift store in Columbus, Whitehall, Grove City, or Washington Court House.
If you would like to donate housewares to National Kidney Services and have additional questions about the items we accept or our size limits for donations, please feel free to contact us today.
